On Monday, the number of patients with Covid-19 in the intensive care services of French hospitals exceeded two thousand, in a threshold not registered since May in this country, which also accounted for the death of 146 people in 24 hours from the epidemic, according to official figures.
Official data showed that during the last 24 hours, 269 infected with the new Corona virus entered the intensive care departments (compared to 147 infected on Sunday), bringing the number of those admitted in a week in the intensive care departments of this country.
The number of HIV-infected people suffering from most symptoms of the disease and currently in intensive care services reached 2090 patients, and the last time the number of patients whose severity required admission to services intensive care in France exceeded the threshold of two thousand patients, which dates back to mid-May.
At the height of the epidemic in April, the number of Covid-19 patients in intensive care departments exceeded 7,000. However, this number decreased rapidly and remained so until the end of July, when it gradually increased.
Over the past 24 hours, France recorded 13,243 new cases of the pandemic, and in terms of deaths resulting from the epidemic, France recorded 146 deaths within 24 hours of Monday (compared to 85 deaths on Sunday). This brings the total death toll in this country to 33,623 deaths.
