Middle East: amend flight schedule for third phase of evacuation

In a statement, Middle East Airlines – Lebanese Airways “Middle East” announced its modified flight schedule for the third stage of the evacuation process, which will take place from May 14 to 24, 2020 inclusive, from countries conducting tests for the PCR test virus (days 16-16- 18-20-22 May 24), and among the countries that do not have the Corona PCR test (days 15-17-19-21-23 May) except Madrid, Lusaka and Moscow, where the conditions for the PCR test apply.

It should be noted that passengers will be seated side by side on planes departing from countries undergoing the PCR Test, and the price of travel tickets has been adjusted to reflect this.

The flights of the third stage of the evacuation process are subject to the following conditions:

1- The lobe of the PCR must be carried out no more than three days before the date of the trip, in laboratories contracted with the Lebanese embassy or in any laboratory recognized by the interested countries, noting that some embassies abroad have contracted laboratories that can produce results within the specified time limit At competitive prices.
The PCR test cannot be replaced by a medical report. You should ensure that your PCR test results are negative before you log in and board so that you do not hear any passenger who has shown a positive PCR score will be heard.

2- The price of round trip tickets on these evacuation trips is not refundable, unless a positive result of the PCR test is established, at which time the company offices must be informed and the reservation canceled at least one day before the date of travel to recover the value of the travel card.

3- All passengers must verify the conditions of their entry into the Lebanese Republic, and we remember the following conditions:
Lebanese citizens and their families, husband, wife and children may enter Lebanon, including those who have citizenship or residence or their documents under study, in accordance with the provisions of the Lebanese General Security Circular.
– Children are allowed to travel by a Lebanese mother, provided documents proving this are presented before logging in and boarding the plane.
It is not allowed to transport foreign workers (domestic help) on these trips.
Persons holding a “Palestinian Refugee in Lebanon” travel document cannot travel on these trips.

4- Lebanese travelers who wish to return can purchase travel cards, automatically book through the company’s website, www.mea.com.lb exclusively (not through the company’s MEA mobile application), or through the company offices in the country of departure or through the MEA Call Center 961-1 -626999 It is recommended to buy travel cards before the maximum date for PCR controls.

5- As for passengers from the United States, Canada and South America, special flights have been assigned through the airports of London, Paris and Frankfurt, from May 15 to 19-19-19-21-23, without make the PCR exam mandatory, and tickets can only be booked and purchased.
