Martyr of the Lebanese Army

The Army Command – Orientation Directorate issued the following statement: “On 11/6/2020, around 11:15 pm, while a patrol of the Fourth Border Land Regiment carried out a mission to make an inventory of Arsal at the Crossing of Al-Fatha, people on motorcycles opened fire on the members of the patrol, which caused the death of one of the soldiers, and the shooters fled, while the members of the patrol responded to the sources of the fire ”.

The statement said that “a quantity of contraband merchandise and narcotic pills weighing around 50 kg were found at the site, as well as two motorcycles.”

According to the statement, “the seizures were turned over to the competent authorities and the region’s armed forces are working to hunt down the shooters to arrest them.”

The body is transferred on 11/7/2020 at 10:00 from the Dar Al-Amal University Hospital to the town of Dora Al Tahta – Akkar, where the funeral will take place after the noon prayer and will be buried in the cemetery of the locality.
Condolences will be accepted before and after the funeral, for a period of three days at Al-Ramah City Hall – Wadi Khaled – Akkar.
