He continued: “Today, extremism is no longer acceptable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it no longer appears on the surface. Rather, it has become marginalized, disguised and withdrawn. However, we will continue to confront any manifestations, behavior and extremist ideas. “

He explained that “the Saudis have shown their true tolerance and their rejection of these ideas, which were alien to them, which have covered the cloak of religion and will never allow it to exist again among them.”

The Saudi crown prince indicated that hate speech “is the main motivation for the recruitment of extremists and that includes hate speech that uses freedom of expression and human rights as justification. This type of speech attracts hate speech against extremists and, of course, is rejected. The kingdom condemns and rejects everyone. ” A terrorist act or practices and actions that generate hatred and violence and are committed to confronting extremist rhetoric. “Since mid-2017, after restructuring the Interior Ministry and reforming the security sector, the number of terrorist operations in Saudi Arabia has dropped to almost zero,” he added. “A successful terrorist operation, with the exception of a few individual attempts, did not achieve its disgusting objectives.”

Mohammed bin Salman concluded by saying: “Our work today has become preventive and we will continue to attack with an iron hand all those who try to damage our security and stability.”
