As part of the monitoring of the Information Division of the Internal Security Forces to discover crimes of all kinds and arrest the perpetrators in all Lebanese lands, and after several complaints were received from citizens in the city of Nabatiyeh , about an unidentified person who tried to enter the houses – due to rupture and dislocation – to carry out Robbery operations, the last of which was on 9/17/2020.
As a result, the Division intensified its patrols in the places that were the subject of robbery and attempted robbery, and as a result of the field and informational monitoring, these patrols were able to identify the suspect, named AS SI. to. (Born 1994, Syrian).
On 9/17/2020, and after a careful monitoring and control process, one of the Division’s patrols carried out a tight ambush in the city of Nabatiyeh, which resulted in the arrest of the aforementioned. The motorized bicycle and the tools it uses during its operations were also seized.
When his house was searched, money stolen from inside a house in Nabatiyeh was seized.
With his interrogation, he confessed what was attributed to him, and that he used to monitor the houses wandering around the city of Nabatiyeh, and then enter them breaking and taking off, with the aim of stealing. He also admitted that the amount seized at his home was the result of his latest robbery. The legal requirement was met against him and the competent authority was deposited, based on the reference of the Judicial Power.
