Regarding the position of the United States to oppose Hezbollah’s participation in the government, he stated that “there was no discussion with Hill on this issue, and this matter is sovereign and is decided by Lebanese policy.”

He noted that “the guarantee for security stability is political stability, and unfortunately in Lebanon this political stability is not available, and the evidence is the inability to form a government.”
