The “powerful republic” bloc has apologized for accepting President Aoun’s call for consultations, as the bloc’s position is known.

Well-informed political sources confirmed to the “Major General” that a halt was made to the government file, which is why the list that the designated prime minister, Dr. Mustafa Adeeb, was supposed to take to the Baabda Palace was extinguished in the beginning. and that it was about his government formation. The same departments of the Baabda Palace were preparing the program of consultations that the President of the Republic is dealing with with the heads of parliamentary blocs, especially since the idea circulated in the last hours and required this consultation.

The sources revealed that they were discussed between Aoun and Adeeb, so the president-designate came to make consultations, and Aoun, in turn, made consultations with the blocks that would give their confidence to the government in the House of Representatives. He said that the last forty-eight hours have brought positions and developments that frozen the government file and the course of authorship, so the environment had to be ventilated.

And it is understood from the sources that these consultations, which are completed today with Aoun’s meeting with MPs Najib Mikati, Muhammad Raad, Talal Arslan and Hagop Pakradounian, are aimed at solving things, given that there are pending points, including representation Shiite rotating, the number and mechanism for appointing ministers.
