The representative of the fuel distributors in Lebanon and the consultant of the Service Stations Union, Fadi Abu Chakra, revealed to Al-Anbaa that “Lebanon will witness, from the first month of the year, an increase in the prices of gasoline, with a license plate that will reach between 35 and 40 thousand instead of 25 thousand as is the case now. ” .

He said: “The last meeting, which was held in Greater Serail, in the presence of President Hassan Diab, the Bank of Lebanon, the Minister of Energy, Dr. Raymond Ghajar, and those interested in the matter, constituted a in-depth discussion on the issue of rationalizing the support demanded by political forces through a reduction from 85 to 60%, and in this context.
