The movement’s political bureau stated in a statement that “the movement remains committed and supporting the text of the French initiative, which expresses a national need in parallel with the importance of foreign patronage and support.”

The “Amal” movement pointed out that “while respecting the role played by the French president, he is surprised by the accusations and responsibilities he said, especially to the national duo, the Amal Movement and Hezbollah, far from the facts and the facts of the discussions with the president in charge of forming the government, Mustafa Adib. “

And he stressed that “it rejects in any way what arose from the accusations circulated to all forces in matters of profit and money collection, which contradicts the fact that the movement is at the forefront of the call for accountability and audit, and considers this speech a political failure at all that does not help the success of the initiative that we are eager to continue. ” It reaches the objectives that are requested to help Lebanon.

Macron was critical of Lebanese political forces, including “Hezbollah,” in the context of its failure to form the new government under the initiative proposed by Paris.

Macron accused, last Sunday, the Lebanese political class of “taking the country hostage” and “abandoning its obligations in the interests of its own interests”, noting that the events of the last days showed that the Lebanese leaders did not respect their promises. to France.

Mustafa Adeeb apologized last weekend for forming the Lebanese government, after failing to come up with a governing formula that would satisfy political parties in the country, and the Lebanese president has yet to set a new date for binding parliamentary consultations. to appoint a new figure to form the government, at a time when Hassan Diab’s government continues to do business. .
