“Lebanon is at a very dangerous crossroads!”

Deputy Osama Saad believes that “the failure in the formation of the government is due to two main factors, the struggle between the parties of authority for actions and loot, especially with regard to the” fat “ministries, through of which services can be provided to sympathizers, in a way that strengthens political patronage, and the linkage of the parties of power with regional axes and their international sponsors. He considered that in light of the ongoing conflicts between these axes, the government is being used and trained as a bargaining chip and pressure to improve the conditions of these axes.

Saad said in a statement to Al-Anbaa: “Any government made up of the parties of the ruling system, and under the banner of the program proposed by him, will not be able to save Lebanon from total collapse, and most of what it can do is buy time to ensure that this system maintains power for an additional period. “.

He stressed that saving Lebanon from collapse and putting it on the road to recovery requires “a radical political change that includes overthrowing the ruling system and its approach, as well as changing the economic, financial and social approach followed, and laying the groundwork for the transition to a modern, democratic civil state “.

And if he thinks Prime Minister Saad Hariri will apologize for forming the government, he said: “His circles confirm that he will not apologize. As to whether he will succeed in forming a government? And when? This is still unclear! It is known. that France is pushing for a government to be formed as soon as possible. ” She had drawn up the specifications of the government and its program. “

He said: “Lebanon is at a very dangerous crossroads, and it can lead it to one of the following two tracks: The continuation of the ruling system for 3 years until today, staying in power, and it is the system that was built on the alliance between sectarian parties, bank owners and large monopoly merchants … This system has external support. ” But it is incapable of salvation, and offers the Lebanese only more unemployment, emigration and impoverishment, leading to total collapse and overwhelming chaos, and this path is the path to “Somalization”, that is, the collapse of the state and its institutions, poverty, hunger and migration, in addition to insecurity.

As for the second path, it is the program raised by the banner of the October 17 uprising, for the sake of salvation and putting Lebanon on the path of recovery, development and progress, and led the national directions of rescue.

Saad emphasized that “promoting programmatic orientations requires that the forces of the uprising unify their forces and programs, and build a social alliance based on independent union and popular institutions, with the aim of waging a conflict with the existing forces of power, forcing them to withdraw and give in to radical change. “

He considered that the collapse in the economic level and the exchange rate of the lira are heading for a greater exacerbation with great acceleration, considering that the reform programs that are offered, whether they are proposed by the French president, or the reform document of the Prime Minister Hariri, in addition to the proposals of the International Monetary Fund, tend to burden low-income people. And the average consequences of the collapse and bankruptcy, since it tends to reactivate the collapsed rentier economic model, with more austerity, increasing poverty rates and reducing the standard of living of the Lebanese.
