The Corona Pandemic Crisis Cell held an emergency meeting in the city of Barqail for those who were able to participate via the Zoom app, during which Corona developments were discussed after it became clear today that the number of people with crown in the city was 19 injured and, consequently, the committee approved a series of points, the most prominent are:
1- The committee expressed its appreciation for the interest and response of the Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hamad Hassan, and recommended the meeting to make some demands:
Provide a PCR test for all new contacts.
Helping to declare specific neighborhoods in Barqail as a health zone.
Establishment and equipping of field hospitals in remote areas of Akkar, specialized in moderate cases, with medical and sanitary equipment.
Work to expand the Corona ward at Halba Governmental Hospital, especially since it is unable to receive new cases.
2 – Offer some ideas to monitor and confront this epidemic in our municipality, such as:
Prepare a work team trained and equipped to assist in the intervention in emergency situations,
– Track recent test results and identify those in contact with those infected with the virus, if any.
– asking the municipality to prepare a letter to be sent to the Lebanese army to help implement the collection ban,
– Emphasis on prevention, how to go towards preventing the spread, because we have documented and undocumented injuries, and the law allows the Minister of Health to declare the telegrams as a health zone, that is, to avoid any withdrawal, and that the thought of stone is very important.
– Require to establish field hospitals in Akkar in remote areas for moderate cases,
Work on documented and undocumented cases (a complete survey of the area).
– Agreement on the need to isolate the injured and in contact who do not show symptoms of illness at the Tal Hayat Center, provided that this proposal is presented to the governor through the municipality.
3- A proposal to appoint a direct officer of the crisis cell, whose number will be circulated to all and will be responsible for the preparation, evaluation and monitoring, a special fund to monitor the expenses of the crisis.
Direct follow-up with the governor, medical team to follow up on suspicious cases.
Present reports to interested organizations to support the townspeople.
Outreach team
– Activation of the media committee.
4- The need to keep track of contacts, make a list of their names and determine their whereabouts to facilitate the survey process.
