Leave the schools … to homeschooling!

[ad_1]

Finally, I was stopped by an ad on social media of a family looking for a teacher for three second graders, basic, for four hours a day with a salary of two million pounds a month, which leads to the question: What does a Family like this from a school that deducts fees over 20 million pounds? Other expenses like transportation, stationery, etc., while they can provide a safe, efficient, and personal education for all three children for much less?

Primary education is known to require an educational competency that graduates of Lebanese University Faculties of Education and private universities obtain and qualify them to carry out the task with the help of an Arabic language subject teacher. The salary of two million pounds a month is a fair wage for four hours of work (according to the new series of ranks and wages with the six degrees). Consequently, students receive a full attendance education with adequate health measures in the time of Corona and psychological comfort for children and parents, and of course, better educational results through an education focused on a small number of students. A class that requires 45 minutes for a class that includes between 20 and 35 students does not need more than 20 minutes with a small number of them.
With simple calculations, children benefit twice from learning in school, and are protected up to the maximum limits from health injuries, their academic results exceed those of their peers in schools, and the time they spend going to and from school. school becomes a break time and reduces stress and fatigue at home and becomes time and play. And creativity, and the teacher who is fired from her job finds a temporary or permanent alternative.
Since our laws do not allow homeschooling, parents are legally responsible for not enrolling their children in school. Therefore, and to avoid this problem, parents can enroll their children in public school even if they refrain from attending, and the refusal of parents to send their children to school when they are threatened by health or safety risks, such as is the case today of Corona, his right is indisputable. And when the time comes to take the exams in school, they will surely excel and the school is obliged to promote them. There is no law or authority that can deny parents the right to protect their children and refrain from sending them to school in light of the pandemic. Parents and children are protected by the Sharia of the rights of the child which transcends local law. But we lack a law that allows homeschooling that needs controls such as evaluation, level and promotion, and it is a law that can be easily implemented if we have a representative education committee that looks out for the interest of parents and children. students and not the interest of private schools, as does the head of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Bahiya Al Hariri (who owns several large schools.), and other representatives who have interests with the networks of private schools affiliated with the sects and their matches.
At a time when thousands of teachers are laid off from their jobs and there is a sharp drop in the enrollment rate (in Catholic schools, for example, the percentage has been limited to 20-25% of students despite the decision not to increase tuition fees), the Ministry of Education and its centers in the governorates are witnessing a multitude of requests for transfer of education. While a large percentage of parents have not decided to enroll their children in private schools, due to the uncertainty of the situation in health and economic levels. Consequently, the decrease in the tuition rate will force private schools to spend more teachers or go bankrupt or close, and more teachers will lose their jobs or job stability, and will not be able to receive their full compensation (all six grades) and perhaps all their compensation due to expected non-compliance in the Authority’s staff compensation fund. Educational in private schools. When they look for work outside the framework of the private educational institution, they will not be able to join the fund, and they will lose their medical insurance except for the summer salary.

Homeschooling needs legislation to ensure job security for teachers

And like homeschooling outside the educational institution, the teacher will not have any social or health benefits if the teachers union does not find a solution at the legislative and legal level, since the homeschooling legislation that includes the The right of teachers to benefit from the health insurance and compensation fund protects the social and economic rights of this group and ensures a part. From job stability and guarantee of old age.
One of the most important duties of the State is to protect the economic, social and health rights of citizens, however, we are in front of gangs and cartels that seek to shock people. Parents are obliged to enroll their children in private schools because their alternative options are not efficient, and the teacher is obliged to lose part of their rights because the legislation is governed by cartels and utilitarian interests and not by public service, so the teacher pays the price for her who reaps her life. Alternative solutions are hampered because the interests of cartels, politicians, and cult leaders are threatened and their profits decline.
Let our homes be schools, since parents need teachers and vice versa, outside the archaic systems. Both parties have the right to life and freedom of choice. It is time for people to find solutions for themselves and take the initiative to save their lives and the lives of their children.
Homeschooling is a solution. They elected him despite the nose for political authority, because you are not breaking the law, but defending the future of your children and the future of the country. This is the right of the people in international law and legislation.
