Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei described the US presidential elections as a “spectacle” and stressed that they do not concern his country, which will continue with its policies regardless of the results of the US elections.
He tweeted on “Twitter”: “What a sight! One of them says it is the most fraudulent election in the history of the United States. And who says that? The current president of the United States.”
He added: “On the other hand, his opponent says that Trump intends to manipulate the election. This is election and democracy in America.”

The Iranian leader considered that “there is no difference for Iran to win in the US elections, and Iran will continue with its policies, regardless of the next US president.”
He said: “Our policies are studied and clear towards the United States, and are not affected by the change of presidents of the United States of America.”
He added: “We are not concerned about changing names in the US presidential elections, and what matters to us is US politics.”
And he considered that “the US elections are the most fraudulent in the world, according to the admission of the candidates”, highlighting that “the American political decline is clear, since the system suffers a moral decline recognized by the Americans themselves.”
