The head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, arrived last night in the French capital, Paris, accompanied by a member of the Wael Abu Faour Democratic Party, on a visit that will last a few days.
Circles of the Progressive Socialist Party confirmed to Al-Markaziyah that the visit includes meetings with French and European officials on various developments in Lebanon and the region, but there is no set agenda or predetermined dates, but rather an open agenda.
While he stated that the visit will be limited to France, not including any other countries, the information to Al-Markaziyah suggested that the goal of Jumblatt’s visit would be to accurately analyze the Lebanese reality for concerned French officials in order to find a solution to the government stagnation.
