Los Angeles Lakers superstar # Lebron_Games emphasized that he was ready to resume NBA suspension due to the # Corona virus, and dismissed reports that some player agents and team officials wanted to cancel the season.

The NBA has suspended all competitions since March 12, after Frenchman Rudi Goubert, a Utah Jazz player, contracted the “Covid 19” virus.

A CNBC report quoted unidentified player agents and Lakers officials as saying that club owners are concerned about responsibilities due to health problems and a lack of income due to playing in front of empty seats.

However, James, who was crowned the “NBA” league champion three times, contested the report, emphasizing that he and his colleagues in the Lakers are ready to complete the season when health officials believe conditions are safe.

James, who crowned the league’s best player 4 times, wrote on his Twitter account: “Have I seen any reports of officials and agents wishing to cancel the season? This is not true.”

He continued: “No one I know says something like this. Once the situation is certain, we want to end the season. I am ready and our team is ready. No one should cancel anything.”

The Lakers were in the lead in the western region before the suspension of the competitions, and had the second best balance in the league after the Milwaukee Bucks, with 49 wins against 14 losses, where there is almost a month of the regular season in addition two months for the knockout rounds.

There is no doubt that players will need the time and opportunity to return to training and regain their fitness before competitions resume, even if they are behind closed doors and in specific locations.

An association spokesperson told “CNBC” that “it is the association’s responsibility to explore all options to continue playing this season.”

He continued: “We owe it to our fans, clubs, players, partners and everyone who loves the game. While everyone’s health and safety remain our priority, we continue to evaluate all options to end the season.”

“At the same time, we are largely focusing on addressing the impact of Covid-19 in the 2020-2021 season,” he emphasized.

And the League previously reached an agreement with the Players Association to reduce each player’s salary by 25 percent, starting May 15.

The League has also announced that it will allow players to resume individual drills at the club’s training venue beginning May 8 in regions where governments allow it.
