The “Yediot Aharonot” newspaper said on Tuesday that although it has only been about a month since the start of flights between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, reports have started to speak “of Israeli tourists stealing content from rooms of hotel in Dubai “.
An Israeli businessman told the newspaper: “I have been visiting the United Arab Emirates for many years and do business there.”
He continued: “Last month, I arrived at the usual hotel I was staying at and was horrified when I found Israelis in the hotel lobby whose suitcases were opened before leaving to search for items stolen from the rooms.”
He added: “I saw a group of young people who had stacked towels and a kettle in their bags.”
The businessman confirmed that a lamp was found in another Israeli tourist bag in the same hotel, the price of which does not exceed a few dollars.
The manager of a hotel overlooking the Burj Khalifa in the heart of Business Bay says: “We receive hundreds of tourists from all countries of the world, some of them create problems, but we have not seen things stolen before.”
“Recently, we have seen Israeli tourists arrive at the hotel and pile all their suitcases in their bags, stealing towels, tea and coffee bags and even lamps,” he added.
On one occasion, the hotel manager says: “An Israeli family with two children came to check-out and we discovered that things were missing in the room.”
He added that when hotel employees tried to tell them that things were missing from the room they were staying in, they started yelling.
“After the conversation, they finally agreed to open her bag and we discovered that they had an ice container, hangers, and face towels. After we told them we would inform the police, they decided to return the things and they apologized, ”he says.
Notably, many Hebrew newspapers revealed that Dubai has become the most prominent destination for Israeli tourists to have sex due to the large number of prostitutes there.
And Hebrew reports indicated that even young men go to Dubai for sex due to the proliferation of brothels there, spending huge sums of money running into thousands of dollars just to spend hours with sex workers.
