He added that “these maneuvers began yesterday, Saturday, with the transfer of planes and fighters from all the air force bases to the Isfahan base,” noting that “at this stage, the exercises will be carried out with the participation of dozens of planes. of combat, bombers and drones, during the main and operational stage “. , for two days”.
Zada explained that “the Sukhoi-24, F-4, F-5, F-7, MiG-29, F-14, Lightning aircraft, Boeing 707 and 747 fuel transport aircraft, C130 transport and support aircraft, participate in exercises. In addition to drones, Karrar, Ababil, Arch and Walkman 99, equipped with missiles, long-range smart bombs, and interceptor missiles, have been deployed to the Babaei base in recent days.
“The objective of carrying out the maneuvers is to improve combat capacity and practice the implementation of operational plans and obtaining a suitable model for battle, in real conditions and using different types of aircraft,” said the commander of the air force of the Iranian army.
