Despite the large number of people infected with the Corona virus in many Iranian neighborhoods, authorities announced that all mosques will be reopened on Tuesday, according to the Iranian News and Television Agency. President Hassan Rouhani said the schools will open their doors next week.

The resumption of Friday prayers, which is still banned in the capital Tehran and some other major cities, came after the reopening of 132 mosques on Monday in areas permanently free of the virus.
Schools return next week
On Sunday, President Hassan Rouhani said, according to the presidential website, that the schools will open their doors next week.
Iran has already lifted the ban on movement between cities and allowed the opening of business centers.
Health Ministry spokesman Kyanosh Jahanpur said in a statement on official television that the number of deaths in Corona in Iran has increased from 45 people in the last 24 hours to 6685. The total number of infections in Iran is 109,286 .
Iran, one of the worst-hit countries in the Middle East, has begun easing restrictions to keep the economy affected by U.S. sanctions.
Change in ministerial portfolios
The presidential website stated that Rouhani also announced the change of the Minister of Industry, Mines and Commerce on Monday in a decision apparently aimed at boosting the economy.
The statement added, without referring to the dismissal of Minister Reza Rahmani, that Husayn’s teacher Khaybani would replace Rahmani as the minister’s position.
Rouhani asked Khayabani to stabilize car prices, remove obstacles to domestic production, and expand non-oil exports.
Fares said Rahmani wrote in a letter to Rouhani that the reason for his dismissal was that Parliament had not approved the creation of a Ministry of Commerce. The agency released a photo of the letter.
Rahmani wrote, saying that the director of Rouhani’s office had warned him that he would be removed from office if he did not pressure members of parliament to create the Ministry of Commerce.
