The spokesman for the National Security Committee in the Iranian parliament, Abul Fadl Amoui, said that the members of the Iran nuclear deal are known and that there is no place for Saudi Arabia among them.
In a statement addressed to him, Amoui said: “Iran will not give Saudi Arabia any role in the nuclear deal,” adding: “Saudi Arabia demands that it be a party to the deal. It has no opinion because there is a lot of ambiguity in its nuclear program.” . “
He indicated that his country is ready to dialogue with Saudi Arabia on contentious issues, including the purchase of weapons and the war in Yemen.
On France and the European role, he said, “Iran will not forget the negative role that France played in the 2015 negotiations,” considering that it now “repeats the same role.”
He added that “France’s claims that Tehran should go back to the nuclear deal first are illogical.”
He noted that the statements of French President Emmanuel Macron were “useless” and would not contribute to a return to the nuclear deal.
And he considered that “the Europeans acted inconclusively in the nuclear agreement, did not comply with their obligations, and could not impose demands on Iran.”
He continued: “We previously negotiated with part of US President Joe Biden’s team, and there is no point in negotiating with him again.”
