The Department of Meteorology of the Civil Aviation Administration predicts that tomorrow Sunday the weather will be from light to partly cloudy, with a gradual and significant decrease in temperatures, especially in the mountains and inland, which remain relatively high, with the formation of fog in the heights during the evening period. It says in the following brochure:

The general situation: Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin are exposed to hot air masses coming from the Arabian Gulf, whose influence continues until Wednesday. The average temperature for the month of September on the coast ranges between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius in the shade. We warn of the risk of fires in wooded areas during the “heat wave”. We also ask to avoid direct exposure to sunlight, especially in the afternoon.

– The expected weather in Lebanon: Today Saturday: few clouds with a slight drop in temperatures, especially in the mountains and inland, and remains unchanged on the coast, and the relative humidity on the coast remains high, which causes an increase in the sensation of heat, since the winds activate us, and the warning of fire danger remains. In wooded areas, we also ask to avoid direct exposure to sunlight for long periods of time during the heat wave and the need to drink more fluids.

Sunday: little to partly cloudy, with a gradual and significant decrease in temperatures, especially in the mountains and the interior, which remain relatively high, with fog in the heights during the evening period.

Monday: Low clouds in general, with the return of temperatures to rise slightly in the mountains and inland and stabilize on the coast.

Tuesday: In general there are few clouds without adjusting the temperatures, which remain above their seasonal levels in the mountains and in the interior, and the warning of the danger of fires in wooded places remains, and we also mention not being exposed to light direct sunlight for prolonged periods during the heat wave and the need to drink more fluids.

Expected temperatures: On the coast, from 22 to 32 degrees. Over the mountains from 24 to 35 degrees. Indoors, 20 to 41 degrees.

Surface winds: southwest, with gusts of between 15 and 40 km / h.

– Visibility: Moderate on the coast due to high humidity, sometimes bad in middle mountains due to fog.

Relative humidity on the coast: between 70% and 90%.

Sea: low waves. Water surface temperature: 30 ° C.

Atmospheric pressure: 1009 HPA, equivalent to: 757 mm Hg.

Sunrise: 14:06 Sunset: 18: 59
