He added: “The initiative includes countries that Lebanon considers ready for cooperation, namely Jordan, Iraq and Syria, as is the case of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, with which we want integration in space. Arab”.

He noted that “Lebanon, which has gone through difficult economic and financial situation, has become an attractive country for investment and possesses competitive capabilities, especially at the human potential level. It can provide the aforementioned countries with two major ports in Tripoli and Beirut and services in the educational, medical, engineering, hotel and agricultural fields, industrial value-added food.

He added that “the initiative is not a job that ends in 24 hours, but requires preparation, dialogues and meetings at the level of the ministries of the countries concerned.”

He continued: “Lebanon is preparing to form a government based on reform bases whose basic program will be to undertake basic reforms in the structure of the financial and economic system. There are dozens of requests submitted to Lebanon from active and economically weighted countries, the latest one of them was Germany for the reconstruction of the port of Beirut, considered one of the most important ports on the coast. “In the eastern Mediterranean, in addition to the port of Tripoli.”

He considered that “the government that will be formed will have the title of carrying out reforms, fighting corruption and rebuilding the Lebanese banking system, starting with a criminal audit of the accounts of the Banque du Liban.”
