The Disaster Management Unit of the Union of Municipalities of the District of Tire, and based on the report of the Medical Director, Dr. Wissam Ghazal, announced the registration of 37 confirmed and laboratory-confirmed cases of the new Coronavirus, for residents who had contact, including 3 cases of Palestinian nationality and one case of Syrian affiliation. The casualties were distributed today as follows: Shot 5, Qana 4, North Tower 3, Srifa 3, two wounded each in Al-Bazouriyah, Naqoura, Tirfilsia, Al-Hosh, Maaroub and Al-Ma’souq, and one wounded in each of Aaitit, Tiridba, Janata, Sila, Al-Masaken. Derganon Ras Al-Ain, Derganon Al-Nahr, Al-Majadel and Gilo Valley, in addition to an injury under investigation. An elderly person suffering from chronic diseases has also died.
He noted that “the number of injured in the district increased to 3,113 injured, distributed as follows: 236 cases of foreigners (3 deaths), 2,875 local cases, including 516 cases of Palestinian citizens, 61 cases of the Syrian community, 4 cases from the Iraqi community, 115 cases of the International Emergency Force (UNIFIL), 36 local deaths. Of these, 1,787 have been fully recovered, including 804 laboratory cures and 983 chronological cures. “
