The Minister of Public Health, Hamad Hassan, today visited the Italian field hospital of the Lebanese University of Hadat, in the presence of the Italian ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri.
After a tour with the Italian officers working at the hospital, Hassan said: “I must point out the distinguished organization and equipment of this Italian field hospital at the Lebanese University in Hadath, and this is a vast victory for the Lebanese people who are suffering the repercussions of the Beirut port explosion, as well as the result of the Corona epidemic, in addition to that fire. Today we are with the Italian State and the Italian people, with whom we have a long history and friendship so that our hands join and cooperate to alleviate this suffering and alleviate this pain that we live in these difficult circumstances and these multiple scourges. On this occasion, I would like to thank the Italian government and the Italian people for this moral and human support par excellence, which indicates the truth that difficulties can be overcome with cooperation and efforts of the kind, which is represented today through the cooperation with the Italian government and the direct support of His Excellency the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon.
