The president of the Progressive Socialist Party, former MP Walid Jumblatt, indicated that there is hope in Lebanon and the student elections in private and Lebanese universities proved it, and today the students are rising up against all.

He stressed that the country is heading into an abyss, and a French opportunity came through French President Emmanuel Macron, “reform in exchange for negotiation,” but so far most parties avoid this issue because their calculations are different.

In an interview with Al-Hurra TV, he considered that so far we have not seen the characteristics of the reform of the Free Patriotic Movement, and stressed that no one can be abolished in Lebanon. He asked: “Why should Prime Minister Designate Saad Hariri show solidarity with Acting Prime Minister Hassan Diab, who was going to the port the day before, but there are those who prevented him?”

Jumblatt added: “There is no prestige or anything left for the presidency, and emphasized that it is necessary to know who destroyed Beirut, and I am with summoning the president of the republic to investigate the port of Beirut, and with summoning the heads of the parties and Whoever, he stressed that the pact is the image and Hezbollah is the de facto ruler and has committed Lebanon to Iran.
