He continued: “The Lebanese forces and those who lead the institutions clearly refused to respect the commitment to France and the international community.”
Macron said: “The roadmap that we established in early September and which is still continuing, reforms and actions are necessary, and it is the only condition for Lebanon to benefit from the aid.”
He noted that “reforms are a necessity and an indispensable condition for Lebanon to benefit from international aid, and we will organize a new conference with the United Nations as a follow-up to the first conference to meet the needs of health, education and housing.”
He said: “I will bring together the members of the international group to support Lebanon to gain international support, and we want to move forward on a road map and enter a new phase today.”
