For meter subscribers:

5,000 LBP will be added. In the fixed part of the meter price for every additional 5 amps.
This rate is based on an average price of 20 liters of diesel fuel for the month of December, which is 17,129 LBP. This is after calculating all the expenses, benefits and costs of the generators, plus a good profit margin for their owners.
This price was issued in accordance with the mathematical table approved by the Ministry of Energy since October 14, 2010; And in compliance with Cabinet Resolution No. 2 issued on 12/14/2011 on taking the necessary measures to adjust the rate of private generators, and based on the announced inter-ministerial application mechanism (internal energy and economy) on 12/20/2011, which specified the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy and Circulating Water for the prices of private generators based on diesel prices at the end of each month.
A 10% is added to the approved price in the case that the generator is located in a mountainous area or in small towns where the number of subscribers is small and the distribution networks are long.
The Ministry of Energy and Water also announces that it has sent books on the December 2020 pricing to the Ministries of the Interior and Economy, so that they can do what is necessary according to the joint control mechanism.
