A United Airlines flight witnessed a tragic incident when a passenger suffered what appeared to be a heart attack, so the cabin crew and some passengers rushed to help him, before it became clear that the man was infected with the Coronavirus, according to Sky News.

One of the passengers on the American plane showed signs of fatigue, as he was sweating and shivering even before take-off, and after about an hour his condition began to worsen and he lost consciousness, while the flight crew thought it was a heart attack.

As the man’s condition deteriorated, the crew asked passengers if there were doctors on board or trained to perform resuscitation.

Immediately, a group of passengers stood up to help in the recovery process throughout the flight, which lasted about 45 minutes, until the pilot’s emergency landing in the US city of New Orleans.

After the emergency landing and the arrival of the ambulances, the man’s wife admitted that she suffered from shortness of breath and lost her sense of smell and taste, which is one of Corona’s most prominent symptoms, meaning that she and her husband falsely managed to get on the plane and exposed everyone next to him to the risk of infection.

This incident infuriated many of the passengers on the plane, who asked United, why didn’t they take the passengers’ temperature before boarding the plane? They also asked the man’s family, “Why didn’t you go to the hospital or prevented him from boarding the plane in such a situation?

Authorities had announced the man’s death after arriving at a hospital in New Orleans, where the plane had made an emergency landing.
