Hariri said, during a solidarity visit to Serail, that his visit expressed his absolute rejection of the clear and flagrant constitutional violation that the judge committed when trying the prime minister, that is, Hassan Diab.

Hariri added that “the constitution is clear and the heads of government only appear before a special court formed by the parliament,” and emphasized that “the prime minister is not blackmail.”

He remarked that “the relatives of the martyrs have the right to know who entered the ship whose cargo exploded in the port on August 4, and who covered it. As for violating the constitution and claiming the head of government, this is unacceptable.”

Fadi Sawan, the investigating judge in the Beirut port explosion case, charged Diab and several former ministers with the crime of “negligence and negligence” on Thursday.

For his part, Diab confirmed that he is confident in the “cleaning of his palm” and that he will not allow the position of prime minister to be the target of any party.
