Samuel Little, who is described by the United States Federal Police as the worst serial killer in American history, died after confessing to 93 murders, on Wednesday at the age of 80, according to the Prison Authority of California.

Samuel Little, also known as Samuel McDowell, was first arrested in 2012 at a Kentucky Homeless Center. He was flown to California as part of a drug case.
Upon his arrival there, DNA fragments revealed to authorities his involvement in three pending cases, and led to his conviction in 2014 for the murder of three women in Los Angeles between 1987 and 1989.
