Rimini, who lives in Biella, in the northern Piedmont region of the country, graduated for the third time with honors with honors in philosophy from the Italian University of Eastern Piedmont, after obtaining two university degrees.

Rimini obtained a degree in economics and business science at the age of 27, in 1954 at the University of Perugia, and a second in sociology in 1990 at the University of Urbino, at the age of 62, according to the Italian website Today. .

Rimini is a former economics and business professor at local high schools and a well-known accountant in Biella, whose loss of his wife three years ago led him to go to university for the third time.

He said: I decided to go to college in 2016, after the death of my wife Teresa. It was December 30, because I was very afraid of not being able to live without it, so I chose to follow my great passion, philosophy.

After losing his wife, he decided to dedicate his time to study, as his love for culture and knowledge pushed him towards this exceptional goal, which he obtained with the highest marks from the professors of Vercelli University.

In one of the corridors of the Saint-Andrea cathedral, one of the offices of the Obo Humanities Department, Grandfather Rimini discussed a thesis on Heidegger (German philosopher) entitled “The theme of pain and living for death”, in the exceptional graduation day in which he was accompanied by his son Luigi, wife of his son Olga and his granddaughter Lavinia.

Rimini explained after discussing the thesis: “I not only love philosophy. I love knowledge in general. The interest in knowledge not only gives me energy, but also strength and determination to study and move on.”


On his study trip and obtaining his third degree, Rimini used to study 6 to 9 hours a day, despite suffering from low blood pressure, but he never gave up and fell behind his dream and passion of his life, philosophy.

The exceptional student, Rimini, used a computer to enlarge the exam texts, and good luck was his ally, since one of the students worked as his assistant professor to search for brochures and notes from seminars, courses and various classes, until he obtained his third university degree with great excellence, giving everyone a life lesson. .
