He stressed that “banks that do not commit to raising their capital will be in the power of the central bank, which will work to reorganize and sell.”
Regarding the Central Bank’s accusation of collusion with Hezbollah, Salameh said: “The Bank of Lebanon does not have accounts except for banks,” revealing that there are “1.1 billion dollars that came out of Lebanon and it is not the cause of the crisis, but the law does not allow the names of the people who transferred money to be revealed. We consider this to be immoral, but legal.
