Tomorrow Tuesday morning will be different for the team of US President-elect Joe Biden, as the team has scheduled its first meeting with the leaders of the Military Intelligence Agency (DIA), in the presence of representatives of the General Staff. of the Armed Forces and representatives of the American military leaders around the world.
“Sky News Arabia” learned that Biden’s delegation includes assistants to his candidates for the posts of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Salivan.
The meetings will continue until December 18 and in accordance with the law, they will be divided by geographical regions and will focus mainly on international conflicts in the world, especially those that harm the interests of the United States, and the geographical areas in which the US states have a security presence (like the Middle East, the Gulf, and others).
It will also focus on systemic security threats, those posed by countries that have regular armies such as China, Russia, Iran, and others, and the threat from irregular groups, terrorist organizations, and armed movements that possess military capabilities that equal or exceed those of armies.
One of the most prominent goals these meetings will pursue is to allow the president-elect’s team to be aware of the course of affairs and the intelligence files surrounding them, which often include plans by hostile countries or groups to undermine the security of The United States and its allies at home and abroad.
Notably, Biden’s security team now has offices within the Pentagon and receives secret facilities to view information files.
