Fars Agency: Arrest of people who provided weapons and the car that was used in the murder of scientist Fakhri Zadeh

On Tuesday, the Iranian news agency Fars, citing a member of the National Security Committee in Parliament, said authorities had arrested people who provided weapons and a vehicle used in the murder of nuclear scientist Fakhri Zadeh.

For his part, the spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Shura Council, Abul Fadl Amami, announced that other dimensions of the assassination of the martyr Mohsen Fakhri Zadeh, the country’s nuclear scientist, will be discussed in the Security Committee. National, in the presence of the Minister of Security.

“The Ministry of Security presented a report on its performance in the field of security and confronting the enemy’s attempts to penetrate the country and monitor its movements abroad, in addition to discussing technical issues,” added Abul-Fadl Amoui , after a meeting of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy in Parliament.

A spokesperson for the Committee on Foreign Policy and National Security in the Shura Council stated that “the relevant departments of the Ministry of Security provided clarification on the follow-up to the assassination of the martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.”

“During the committee meeting, a report on the measures taken against the enemy’s intelligence services was heard,” as well as a report on the case of Abdullah Jaab from the Al-Nidal Movement, he added.

He stressed that “the intelligence tracking capability of the Security Ministry revealed that enemies have used huge sums of money to make propaganda largely to culturally penetrate Iran.”

The head of the Research and Technology Center of the Iranian Defense Ministry, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, was assassinated on 27 November in an assassination operation described by Tehran as a “terrorist”.

Iran accused Israel of her assassination, and the Revolutionary Guard promised a “tough response” to her assassination.
