The two-state solution, with East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine, and the right of return for Palestinian refugees, in accordance with the decisions of the Arab Peace Initiative that were approved at the Beirut Summit in 2002.
Wahba has been working for days to prepare a word for Lebanon that confirms the aforementioned constants, as long as Lebanese issues remain on the table in all its meetings, whether in this extraordinary session or in the ordinary session of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers. . , which will be held in the first week of next month in Cairo, which is the meeting that will precede the Arab summit, whose date has not yet been set in Algeria.
Wahba is expected to meet with many of his Arab counterparts and with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, to discuss Lebanon and bilateral issues. Wehbe confirms to “Nidaa Al Watan” the importance of Egypt’s role in solving the Lebanese crisis, considering that Egypt is the Arab country most familiar with the Lebanese differences and the ways to find solutions for them.
