Corona test development processes are still ongoing
The world is still waiting for a drug that will completely cure the Corona virus.
In the same context, a recent study by researchers at the University of Maryland School of Medicine found that people who take aspirin daily have a lower risk of dying from coronavirus compared to other people.
They are less likely to have complications and are less likely to enter the intensive care unit or need oxygen, according to the study published in the journal Anesthesia and Analgesia.
The study included 412 patients, nearly a quarter of whom were taking a low-dose aspirin a day before entering the hospital, or starting the drug shortly after entering the hospital.
After analyzing the results, the study authors concluded that those who took aspirin reduced their oxygen needs by 44 percent and intensive care by 43 percent.
Most importantly, the researchers said, those who took aspirin had a 47 percent lower risk of dying in the hospital than those who did not take it.
Researchers believe that aspirin reduces the risk of corona because it prevents dangerous blood clots that form in the heart, lungs, blood vessels and other organs of the body, which can lead to death due to heart attacks, strokes and the failure of multiple organs in the body to perform their functions.
