“Secrets of the Second Liberation” (Preparation Team: Diaa Abu Taam, Ahmed Bazzi and Ali Al-Mousawi), is the title of the documentary series that was supposed to be released early last month on “Al-Manar” , but the bombing of the port of Beirut on August 4, then The Memory of Ashura, without him. But tonight, we will be on a date with the start of the first episodes documenting, for the first time, Hezbollah’s full official version of the Eastern Chain battles. Thus, over a 12-week period, the series (Director: Dia Abu Taam – Mahdi Ghaddar) will span 12 episodes narrating the events of the battles on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, since 2012, that is, the date of entry of Hezbollah in the battles inside Syria, up to In 2017, the liberation of Jroud Baalbek and al-Qaa, and the announcement of the liberation of the entire Eastern Chain.
The documentary series is the largest in the media and in military documentation, and it took three years to implement. It begins with the battle of the “Field of Al-Qusayr” in the spring of 2013, that is, a year and a half after the start of the war in Syria, the date Hezbollah entered this war, with military formations, with a explanation of the reasons for waiting for this period, an analysis of the nature of the Takfiri groups and a “flash” Military and geographical maps, to show the size of the real existential threat to Lebanon, and the Takfiri project that wanted to reach the Lebanese regions by land and sea, of course with the Israeli gaze remaining present in these battles. “Secrets of the Second Liberation” puts, for the first time, in the hands of the Lebanese, the official account of the details, secrets and secrets of these battles, with the “War Media” and the “Unit of Studies and Information in the Radwan Forces” more than 120,000 documents between documents and studies, and 70,000 documents and video clips. (Research and investigation of Ali Aladdin), documented with some ci He counted aerial cameras and GoPro that the resistance fighters wore on their heads, and they documented the live battles that took place at that time.
The author and director of the series, Diaa Abu Taam, tells us that he began the documentation of this series a few days after the second editorial announcement, that is, in September 2017, adding that it began so that the historical and serial narration of events be synonymous with image. An effort has been made here to secure all live images and videos, even if they are incomplete, the team has resorted, as Abu Taam continues, to the use of three-dimensional (3D) technology, which may not differ from the realistic image of the battles. The insistence on the use of live footage and in real time is a characteristic of this documentary work, in parallel to it, other live testimonies, of the Mujahideen who participated directly in the battles, of the officers and officials of Saraya, and even with the resistance fighters who were subsequently martyred, their faces will appear publicly on the tape.
The first episode, to be released on Friday, will be titled: “Syria and the Beheading of the Hydra.” As for the second episode, which will be screened next week at the same time, it will be titled: “The Deception of Dissociation”, here is a detail of what happened in Lebanon after it decided to follow the policy of distancing. Of course, the battle of Al-Qusayr and its field, will have the greater part of this series, since three episodes will be dedicated to it. The first is titled “Tal Mandu Qalaat al-Qusayr”, and the second is “Rural al-Qusayr, the city belt”. As for the third episode, it is titled: “The battle of transformation: Al Qusayr”, so then we will be in charge of the seventh and eighth part of the series, which will deal with the battles of “Qalamoun”, “Qara” and “Assal al-Ward”, and the introduction of car bombs and detonation in Lebanon. As for the ninth part, entitled “The Eastern Series: Pedestrians with Pedestrians”, it narrates the challenge that Hezbollah placed in front of Al-Nusra and confronting its members on the ground, while the tenth part is dedicated to talking about the “curse of the green bus” and the physical liquidations it carried out. The elements of “Al-Nusra” meet each other, so we can get to the end of the series, with the light on the “Battle of the Dunes Dawn” which was led by the Syrian and Lebanese armies and the resistance. The last part concludes with a broader strategic vision that speaks of a “victory between two countries”, that is, between Syria and Lebanon, and the dissection of this battle and its repercussions in each of the two countries, as well as its reflection about the Zionist entity. During the duration of these episodes (each episode is 50 minutes long), military language will be mainly present. Abu Ta’am saw a kind of difficulty in reconciling between simplifying and explaining the military terminology used to the viewer and obtaining material that any military expert and specialist would enjoy, except for their first public disclosure, the details of the plans of the resistance. to defeat terrorist groups and the secrets of these battles, especially geographical difficulties. And the harsh weather it faced, especially snow, prevented the resistance movement. But in the end, invasive solutions emerged from this suffering, and they were able to overcome these difficulties, in addition to showing how the resistance penetrated the encryption devices of the Takfiri groups, and showing video clips that were produced between them, after they were abandoned in the battlefield.
