The Interior Minister noted that “the roadblock hurts the citizens” and said: “I do not believe that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah threatens the security forces with his speech on this issue.”
During his speech, Fahmy indicated that “the issue of building British or American towers on the borders is totally false.”
In addition, Fahmy saw that “the scenario definitely requires a techno-political government,” while noting that “there is provision. Hold by-elections after Ramadan, in case financial hurdles are removed.
Regarding the murders of Luqman Salim and Joe Bejjani, Fahmy said: “The agencies are doing their job and I cannot reveal the results.”
