Washington: Donald Trump’s doctors confirmed on Saturday that his condition is “very good” after being hospitalized after suffering Covid-19, but a source familiar with the health of the white American president said that his vital signs were alarming and that the next 48 hours would be crucial.
In the first updated medical report on the US president’s health status since he was admitted to Walter Reed Military Hospital on Friday, Dr. Sean Conley said that Trump screamed and was able to walk and that “he had not had a fever in 24 hours.”
The doctor added that the US president suffered from a cough, mild congestion and fatigue, but the symptoms “decrease and improve.”
He stressed that Trump is breathing well without assistance and is not receiving oxygen support and is in “very good” condition.
But a source familiar with Trump’s health gave a less positive assessment of the US president’s COVID-19 case.

Public health experts have raised concerns about the rise in infections related to an event on the White House lawn on Sept. 26 to announce Trump’s selection of Justice Amy Connie Barrett as a member of the Supreme Court.
At least seven people who attended the ceremony had contracted the epidemic, including First Lady Melania Trump, Conway, Senators Tom Tillis and Mike Lee, and Notre Dame President John Jenkins.
