The adviser to the Minister of Health, Dr. Muhammad Haidar, confirmed in an interview with writer Enas Shari in the newspaper “Al-Sharq Al-Awsat” that “the daily number of new Corona injuries is still considered very high.”

He stressed that “Lebanon is still in the dissemination phase, as the percentage of positive results from the number of examinations sometimes exceeded 13 percent.”

He noted a number of negative indicators, including “the high number of deaths, which exceeded the rate of 1 percent, and the proximity of most hospitals to their maximum capacity, as well as the increase in the number of Corona patients in intensive care rooms and respirators. “

In addition to these negative indicators, Haidar points to an additional dangerous indicator, which is the spread of the infection between members of the same family, which the Ministry is trying to contain through monitoring.
