Lebanese Interior Minister Mohamed Fahmy announced a partial curfew starting Sunday night, due to the large number of coronavirus cases in recent days.

As of Sunday morning, the total number of injured people reached 845, the number of deceased people remained at 26, and 234 patients recovered, according to the Ministry of Health.

Fahmy said, in a circular that Anatolia arrived at, a copy of it, that “going in and out of the streets and highways will be avoided between seven in the afternoon (16:00 GMT, starting from Sunday night) until five morning (02:00 GMT) the next morning (Monday) “, without specifying when the ban ends.

The Minister noted that in the event that some citizens continue to breach the instructions related to prevention and public safety measures, “a complete closure (closure) of all public and private departments, institutions, companies and commercial stores will be achieved, with the exception of the medical and health sector and military devices only. ”

On Wednesday, the Interior Ministry announced that some precautionary measures applied in places of worship had been relaxed to counter the outbreak of Corona.
