Corona injuries in Lebanon increased to 52,558 cases

The number of new infections with the coronavirus (Covid 19-) in Lebanon rose today, to 52,558, after 1,388 new infections were recorded during the last twenty-four hours, while the number of deaths rose to 455.

And the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced in its daily report on the evolution of the Corona virus that during the last twenty-four hours, 1,388 new cases of corona were registered, including 1,382 among residents and 6 among Lebanese arrivals, raising the accumulated number of confirmed cases to 52,558 since last February 21.

The ministry added that 5 new deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 455 since February 21.

Last Friday, the Minister of the Interior and Municipalities of the interim government, Mohamed Fahmy, made the decision to close 111 villages and towns due to the high contagion with the Coronavirus in them, for a period of one week, from October 4 to 12.

And the Lebanese Council of Ministers announced in an emergency session held on March 15, the general mobilization to confront the spread of the Corona virus, and the general mobilization continued until the end of this year.
