German Health Minister Jens Spahn was quoted as saying that “his country may start administering Covid-19 vaccines next December.”
“There is reason to be optimistic that there will be approval for a vaccine in Europe this year, and after that we can start immediately,” Span said in a press interview.
Spahn explained that “he will ask the German federal states to have the vaccination centers ready by mid-December”, noting that “this is going well.”
The German minister affirmed that his country has obtained more than 300 million doses of vaccines through the European Commission, contracts and binary options.
Spain also announced, on Sunday, that it will begin in January a comprehensive vaccination process against the Corona virus, the cause of the Covid-19 epidemic.
On Sunday, the president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, said that “Madrid will start a comprehensive vaccination program against the Corona virus in January, and a large sector of the population is expected to be covered in 6 months.”
He added that “Spain and Germany are the first two countries in the European Union to have a complete vaccination plan,” according to the Reuters news agency.
“The campaign will start in January and will have 13,000 vaccination points,” Sancheth said at a press conference after a hypothetical two-day summit of G20 leaders.
