The television “Al-Ghad” showed a video report in which it revealed the location and the name of a single country that raised the slogan “Corona did not pass from here”.
At a time when all parts of Europe are experiencing a state of panic due to the huge increase in the number of coronavirus infections and the emergence of a new strain of the virus in many European countries, a place on this continent has yet to been affected by the epidemic.
The channel “Al-Ghad” showed a video report in which it revealed the location and the name of a single country that raised the slogan “Crown did not pass from here”, which is the country of “Svalbard”, which is in the Arctic Ocean, north of the globe, and is a group of small islands, where it is considered the safe haven on the continent to not register new infections by the emerging virus among its inhabitants.
The report continued, that Svalbard lies between Norway and the Arctic, with a population of 2,300, and there have been no injuries between them since the start of the epidemic.
The report said that the reason is due to the precautionary measures adopted by the state since the virus outbreak, which ensured the continuity of normal life, in addition to the limitation of internal meetings with only 6 people.
The country consists of several islands in the Northern Ocean and glaciers cover about 60% of its area.
The World Health Organization issued warnings to the European continent that the next six months are the most difficult in European history until vaccines are available.
