The Lebanese Directorate General of Internal Security Forces announced in a statement on Monday that a series of measures will be taken to divert traffic as Parliament will hold a session to do so at the UNESCO Palace in Beirut on Tuesday.
The statement read: “The House of Representatives will hold a session tomorrow, Tuesday 10/20/2020 at the UNESCO Palace – Beirut. Therefore, from 6.30 am from the mentioned date until the end of the day, the traffic will be transferred according to the following:
The next walk from the queue to Al-Ajouz / Calle Al-Bustani station, and divert it to the queue and return to Gabriel Murr.
The Marriott tunnel and detour to Gabriel Murr Street up and back to Gabriel Murr.
Cross “Farmacia Mashmouchi”, diverting it towards the Mar Elias / Salam crossing.
Crossing the Bank of Beirut and diverting it towards the Mar Elias / Salam crossing.
Avoid traffic inside the Saeb Salam tunnel and divert traffic from the Al-Rashideen / Salam intersection to Mufti Hassan Khaled park.
Deviation from the Avenue de Gaulle – Carlton intersection and return to the Nasr / Raouche intersection.
Deviation from the Abdullah Al-Machnouk / Karameh intersection towards Riad Taha Itani street towards the Al-Janzeer wheel.
Deviated from the track belt to Barlin Street – Carlton de Gaulle.
Detour from Abdel-Al square to Gabriel El-Murr
Transfer of the next walk from “Summer land” – Bin Zayed Park, to Abdel Aal Square – Gabriel Al Murr – Marriott.
Avoid traffic from the Bekaa / Solh intersection and divert traffic to the Solh / Karameh intersection and get off in the direction of Shatila Street.
The leadership added: “The honorable citizens are asked to take note and adhere to the instructions and directives of the men of the Internal Security Forces.”
