China’s National Health Commission said Saturday that no new domestic cases of COVID-19 infection have been reported in mainland China.
The commission added in its daily report that a total of 18 confirmed cases were reported from outside mainland China on Friday, as these cases were recorded in Guangdong, Shanghai, Tianjin, Liaoning, Fujian and Shaanxi.
The commission said no new suspected cases or deaths related to Corona were reported in mainland China.
On Friday, a total of 24 patients, who had COVID-19, were discharged from hospitals after recovering in China.
As of late Friday, a total of 3,680 imported cases were reported to the mainland, of which 3,325 were discharged from the hospital after recovery and 355 were still in the hospital. No deaths were reported from the imported cases.
Since the pandemic outbreak through Friday, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in mainland China has reached 86,325. Of these, 388 patients continue to receive treatment, including three seriously ill patients.
