Kanaan indicated that the “Capital Control” law is coming to an end in the Finance Committee, after taking into account the IMF’s observations on the matter.

He added: “I have asked that the accounts of the Banque du Liban be audited, not today, but since 2017, and with the official recommendations of the Money Committee that were presented to Parliament and the government, which did not happen.”
