US President-elect Joe Biden pledged to unite Americans and seek to bridge the gap in the country after defeating outgoing Republican President Donald Trump in elections that took place on Tuesday.

He continued: “I understand the disappointment of a voice for Trump, but I tell you that I do not have blue or red states … I promise to be the president of all Americans of all sects, colors, beliefs and orientations.”
