He said: “I took this news to the officials, who denied the matter and promised to follow up, but to no avail. The National Human Rights Commission was formally informed and promised to follow up, but the deadly administrative routine has prevented it until the day of today fulfill its function “.

He stressed that, “today I have been informed of the prisoners and their families that they can no longer bear this inhuman treatment, and threaten to burn their rooms and themselves if their case is not attended, and they are treated humanely like other prisoners.”

Sablouh called on human rights organizations in Lebanon to act urgently to save the prisoners, and went to the Ministry of the Interior to assume responsibility and address this tragedy, considering the aforementioned as informing the discriminatory Prosecutor’s Office for open a transparent investigation of this crime and work to punish the criminals.
