Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, sent an official letter to the UN Security Council, calling for immediate action against Hezbollah’s activities in southern Lebanon.
“Erdan” attached his message, which sent all members of the Security Council, a map drawn up by the Israeli army, identifying the areas in which Hezbollah tunnels were recently discovered and the sites from where the attacks on Israel began. .
The map also revealed the observation points of the “Green Without Borders” organization, a non-governmental organization believed to be a “Hezbollah” front that was established to operate near the border and collect intelligence on Israeli forces. .
The Israeli ambassador stated in his message that “Hezbollah has not been disarmed. Rather, it is” using human shields to protect its weapons arsenal, which includes more than 130,000 missiles and military infrastructure. “
He also noted that “the party systematically and completely limits the ability of UNIFIL to carry out its tasks, by restricting freedom of movement, in an attempt to conceal the activity of its members.”
Erdan’s letter concluded that “the Security Council must immediately declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization and prevent it from receiving direct or indirect assistance.”
