On 09/23/2020, and after monitoring and follow-up operations, a special group force, in coordination with the aforementioned office, managed to arrest them for the alleged crime on the Zahle-Bekaa highway, while they were transporting a stolen car from the outskirts from Beirut to the Bekaa region.
When searching them and the car they were in, two military pistols, a Kalashnikov rifle and tools used in the car thefts were seized.
When questioned by the bureau officers, they confessed to having stolen and stolen more than / 30 / cars from different areas of the Beirut and Mount Lebanon governorates.
The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
